Charter for Compassion
The Charter for Compassion describes itself as "a document that transcends religious, ideological, and national differences. Supported by leading thinkers from many traditions, the Charter activates the Golden Rule around the world."
In 2008, noted historian Karen Armstrong won the TED Prize. Her response: “I wish that you would help with the creation, launch and propagation of a Charter for Compassion, based on the fundamental principles of universal justice and respect.”
